The story behind
Akili Suite.

Akili Suite was born inside a real law firm. HB Advocates LLP, based in Nairobi, Kenya - a practice that needed a platform to match its ambition and couldn't find one built for its reality.

The founders spent months evaluating every legal practice management platform available. The international ones were too expensive, too complex, and culturally foreign - built for London or Los Angeles, not Nairobi. The local options were too basic, too fragile, and entirely disconnected from the AI revolution transforming professional services globally.

"We didn't build a product. We built the infrastructure for a new generation of African legal practice - the intelligence layer that every firm deserves but only the largest could previously afford."

So we built it. From scratch. On the most capable edge infrastructure on Earth. With AI at the core - not as a marketing claim, but as a functional, working capability running in production, making real predictions on real matters for real clients.

Akili Suite launched internally at HB Advocates in 2025. The results were immediate: faster matter updates, fewer missed billing entries, a collection rate that climbed from the first month of dunning automation. Advocacy that finally felt like it was running at full power.
